You should definitely let the list know that there is a new project so everyone understands the context of future questions and patch submissions. I do not want your blog post to spark any contentious discussion regarding the merit of gnonlin and gstreamer. Let's just use this as your official announcement to use MLT. It will be great to have GTK+ video editor using MLT. It will also be good for GTK+ users to have an alternative to Kino and pitivi to explore. Also, please do not hesitate to consult the kdenlive source code to learn how to do some things. Also, thanks for the logo spiffiness.
