Not sure why sometimes doubleclicking over a yet opened file fails because it tries to create a new tab with the same name(!).

Must do some research because it doesn't fails always. Search for:

  • It's an OS issue (i.e. seems to work properly on Debian but seems to fail on Lubuntu).
  • It's a text codification issue (I'm not sure if both Debian and Lubuntu use the same text codification).
  • There's no problem with the tab-filename search.

-1. Open two different files with same name (i.e. they're in different subdirectories).
-2. Double-click one of the files in the project tree.

-Fixing should be easy: use the full path to identify files in tabs instead of using just the name.

Initially I thought it fails when files two different files have the same name but I've found it isn't the case.

Still don't know why does it happen. Initially it happened only in a virtualized Lubuntu but later I had the same problem on Ubuntu and Debian. I don't remember that Windows fails though.

I can't find a pattern in the behavior. I find it quite random.
