Fundamental alorithms are implemented

I've just implemented the fundamental ability of animated player figures. A default player is designed by masaku these days.
It is also already possible to translate mLabyrinth by a single file. The next release will be in two different languages: english and german!
The next which is to implement is the ability to load themes from the phones memory...

I'm optimistical to present you a new version soon and hopefully a christmas edition.

officially new license / changed to BSD-License

Hi out there,

after I'd a little more time I now changed the license to a BSD one. It's better, because it's not proprietary any more. It's now open for the world and more tolerant.

Future steps are:
- an animated player
- another theme
- choosable / loadable themes

Hope I can deliver you these things for Christmas or New Year's Eve ;)

mLabyrinth 2.0.1

Hi out there!

I updated mLabyrinth to version 2.0.1 ... after a deeper and longer test on my SonyEricsson T630, I noticed that mLabyrinth start's a bit slow on that low-cost phone. So I optimized the start up routine.

Also the game won't crash if it is executed on a phone which does not support the FCOP (JSR 75). This is also optimized.

So the door is now open for more low-cost cell phones ;) - as my game wants to be...... read more

Version 2.0 is out since yesterday!

Hi out there!

After I released Version 2.0 yesterday, I got my old T630 to test the game with a really low-cost mobile phone which also has no FCOP (JSR 75, file system access application programming interface) implemented. I saw that there was a problem and solved it right now.

Now everything works fine even on phones which have no FCOP implemented ;)

Again a new Milestone

Hi out there!

I now managed to implement a "load a map from the phones memory" function.
So with the next release you will be able(!) to load maps from, for instance, an inserted SD-Card - as long as your phone has implemented the File Connection Optional Package (FCOP), JSR 75.

The graphics are also processed very far, so I suppose that I will be able to release the new version as soon as possible.... read more

Reached Milestone

I'm glad to be able to say, that an important Milestone has been reached so far:
The player will be able to save Highscores. That sounds very easy to implement, but there is just a bit more to do.
But now I managed to implement it in a very clean way and everything works fine ;-)

The next version WILL also implement theability to load Maps from phone and a new, more realistic but still mobile phone optimized graphics painted by a very professional guy who will - hopefully - join mozzApps ;)... read more

+ NEWS + NEWS + NEWS +

After I finished my final exams to pass my school, I now have a little bit more time to develope mLabyrinth furtheron.
Next release will have new game graphics und three different maps (different in size = different skill level) and the menu will be revised / reorganized.
But this will take a bit longer - but then you won't be able to keep your eyes and fingers off mLabyrinth ;-)

And remember the LinuxTag (from 30th May to 2nd June) in Berlin (International Congress Centre ICC). ;o)... read more

Hola out there!

I planned these features for the future versions of mLabyrinth:

- ability to save high-scores
- ability to load maps from phone memory

Maybe integrated features for future (after positive response only!):
- player-character
- some animations (player is walking)
- enemies
- mystery puzzles (word puzzles or similar) for the player... read more

Create your own map!

mLabyrinthTools has just been released. With that swiss knife you are now capable to assamble your own map from an ascii file (as map.src.mlm in the example-package, for instance) and generate an image of this assambled map.

New version has been released!

New version as arrived at SourceForge.net. I implemented some basic ideas of programming which replaced a "quick and dirty" part.
This leads to great things: smaller file size and a much faster response to user commands. It may be also faster on some phones now.

Little pause with great effects

Because I'm just in a phase where I have to write many testpapers (yes, I'm a pupil in the 13th grade), I don't have so much time to develope mLabyrinth. I have new Ideas for making things better which I will implement as soon as possible.
Please be patient.
