#51 driver not properly working in my 10.2.6

I got a beige desktop 300mhz with a mitsubishi drive part #
mf355f-3592ma.

I downloaded and installed "swim3-0.96j.pkg.tar.gz" (j being
for Jaguar) from the ftp site and installed it, then restarted.
I left a floppy in the drive and it took about 5 minuets and
asked if I want to initilize the disk so I clicked ok and it
launched diskutil. the drive clicks about every 5-10 seconds
and when that happens my mouse hangs for about half a
second. Diskutil was VERY unresponsive and now and the
formatting takes forever. It was stuck on "setting up
partition map" for 30 min. I was too impatient and force
quit diskutil so I can restart into os9.

I do not recomend people try this unless they have no other
choice. I truly hope the driver can be tweaked to be as
great as the floppy under os9.
