Several hundred fixes were folded in a few weeks ago. We have made
the decision to only backport changes to the original MkLinux driver at
major release points. Making intermediate development changes to two
copies of the source code in the same CVS repository is rather
pointless.
Ideally, the two source trees should be re-integrated in such a way that
the core code is shared, since about 95% of it is identical. However,
that is a nightmarishly painful process that won't even be considered
until nearly all the bugs are shaken out of the Darwin version of the code.
For now, periodic back-ports will occur as needed. We anticipate such
a backport as soon as the format code is fully functional (720k, 800k,
and 1440k).
