[Mkdump-devel] About the Plan of mkdump

Hello,

I have following questions about this function (Mini Kernel dump):

1) Is there a plan to backport this function to 2.4 kernel?
2) Is this function available(/tested) under the following configuration?
   - 64GB High Memory, 
   - HIGHMEMORY I/O,
   - 4GB Kernel-space　and 4GBUser-space virtual memory

I'd like to check these, but I don't have available machine to
confirm this, now. If it had already been tested, I would like to
know whether it has been tested or not.
