YGDRASE: Gunbound Dynamic Registry Settings Application Editor has forked into two branches: YGDRASE normal and YGDRASE-WC. The former will contain all versions prior to 1.6.0, including the just-released 1.5.0. YGDRASE-WC will be 1.6.0 and onward. YGDRASE-WC features support for Gunbound: World Champion, the latest version of the Gunbound client, but is otherwise functionally identical to normal YGDRASE. 1.6.0 is just 1.5.0 with WC support, in other words.... read more

Today marks the release of YGDRASE 1.1.1, the GunBound registry editor. Essentially, YGDRASE makes it easy to change the servers GunBound connects to and the pages it fetches by writing to the registry. The Visual Basic source code is also available, which contains the precise registry keys for do-it-yourselfers. GunBound must be installed to use YGDRASE.

Mjolnir has just been added to SourceForge. We're happy to be here, and hope that we can make a great GunBound server program.

To start off, we've released thurisaz, a custom-written network relay (a la TCPreen), and YGDRASE, a tool to make it easier to change the GunBound connection options in the Windows registry. These are the tools we'll be using to reverse engineer the GunBound protocol. We're right now looking for a networking man to help us figure the protocol out, and rebuild it from the server side.
