The integration of renewable energy sources increases the complexity in maintaining the main grid. While demand response can rely on the flexibility resulting from device operation, the success of this mechanism is heavily reliant on the exchange of information between the grid and the consumers.
Mjölnir is an out-of-the-box framework providing a platform were various feedback concepts can be assessed. It provides basic widgets displaying disaggregated and aggregated consumption information, as well as daily production and tailored advices.
We expect the tool to be beneficial for researchers carrying out field tests on persuasive technologies.
Therefore, we encourage improvements from external users and expect further releases to follow.
