I can't unlock Print Settings to add my printer!

There are two options...

1. Open the menu, click the Run command, and enter gksu system-config-printer

2. To make it permanent, open your file manager as Root and go to /usr/share/applications in the filesystem.

3. Find the Print Settings application

4. Right-click on it, and open it with your text editor
5. With it now open in your text editor, scroll down toward the bottom and find the line starting with Exec= and change the executable command to Exec=gksu system-config-printer
6. Then save and close the file.
