If you'd prefer a more graphical desktop, you can easily add LXDE to MiyoLinux. Be aware that doing so will add about +/- 40 Mbs of RAM used at boot (please note that the RAM usage in the picture includes an open web browser which is minimized to the task bar). If you'd like to do this, simply open your terminal and enter the following command (to keep it minimal)...
sudo apt-get install lxde --no-install-recommends
That will download about 10.7 MBs of additional packages and give you a fully-functional LXDE desktop, and you'll be able to choose between the LXDE session or Openbox session at the login screen by clicking the "gear icon" in the upper right-hand corner of the login screen.
plis lxde version miyo, blessing
Hi eddy! I'm sorry, but I just saw your request...I wasn't notified that you had posted this. I wasn't ignoring you.
I won't make an official release of an lxde version, but I will make you a personal lxde .iso. 😀
Can you tell me if you need a 32bit, 64bit-BIOS, or 64bit UEFI version? I will gladly make one for you.
Thanks,
MiyoLinux
