Hi! I would be honored if you took on the project! Thank you! I've never had a place to keep my sources per say. I basically just started out with a Devuan netinstall and only added the packages that I wanted included (if that makes sense). Then, I would add the script(s) for the application menu(s) and the scripts that I wrote to the final system. I kept those scripts on a USB so that I could transfer them while building the system. You have to understand...I never knew that "MiyoLinux" would take...
Hi Ron!!! I wrote that explanation, because I saw what you wrote on the Devuan Forum. I was hoping that you would somehow see it. The whole idea behind MiyoLinux was to give the user a "nice-looking" base system that would allow the user to install the software/applications that they want on their system. Jim's Daedalus respin of MiyoLinux includes a lot more preinstalled software so that it will be ready "out-of-the-box" for users, but it's still built from the MiyoLinux base. If having preinstalled...
hello Dan wishing you the best, we are looking to add this project into our pipelines just so we can help keep it updated, until your return or more 😁 are there any other sources aside from source forge that you used. rest well and stay strong 💪
Sorry to hear about this. I hope everything works out for you. So do you endorse "Miyolinux-Daedalus" made by sorceforge user metafile?
Hello everyone! For those who may be wondering why the development of MiyoLinux has stopped... I won't go into details, but there are medical issues. I had a hard time keeping on track while trying to release the last few versions of MiyoLinux. I know that is vague, but that's all that I'm willing to share...sorry. I hope you understand. Again, thank you to EVERYONE who had any part in giving advice, your help, testing, trying out the system, and the use of MiyoLinux! It all has been deeply appreciated....
Hi miyo, Yes it is me from the Devuan forum. I am sorry to hear that MiyoLinux is no longer being developed. Thank you for all the help you gave me in setting things up and solving problems. You made my transition to a non-systemd OS easy. I am grateful for the OS and all the help you provided. Thanks again, and take care. Ron

Hi Ron! I'm guessing that you are THE Ron from the Devuan forum. I'm sorry for responding so late. I wasn't notified of your post. Luckily, a friend told me about your question. Ron, I'm sorry to report that yes, after a good run of 7 years (actually 8 years), MiyoLinux will no longer be developed. Thank you so much for all of your years of support for Miyo. It was always a joy to interact with you. Take care Ron! MiyoLinux
Question in the subject heading: has development of Miyo stopped?
Hello, My name is Stephen. MiyoLinux has asked me to take over the development of My Crappy Radio Player TUI. If you would like to request a station or genre to be added, you can request it here. I will do my best to add it to the station list. If you request a "local radio station", I may not be able to include it if I can't find the URL. I WILL try. If I'm unable to, I will let you know.
Hi uggla! I apologize for not answering before now, but I wasn't notified of your question...I wasn't ignoring you. Thank you Adarsh for answering. uggla, like Adarsh, I don't have the issue, and I can't recreate it...on neither kwin nor openbox. Was this on a fresh installation, or did you happen to modify anything after installing it/them? I'm only asking out of curiosity since you've already solved the problem. Thanks, MiyoLinux

Hi zenobit! Thank you so much for the kind words, and I apologize that I haven't responded sooner; however, I wasn't notified of your comments. See if this will help you. I've attached a .png image and use this as the official logo. You can easily convert it to a .svg image with Inkscape if you need to. Thanks again for including MiyoLinux! Take care!
I am adding MiyoLinux into quickemu and my DistroHopper project Check if you are interested... But I need better icon (that I could find)... Could you please provide official logo.png or even better logo in .svg format? Thanks PS: You inspired me a lot...
Fix for inability to update the system: Expired keyring
Fix for inability to update the system: Expired keyring
I solved it by adding the following line to ~/.bashrc xhost +si:localuser:root
Is it on pcmanfm or on all application? I am using it and not facing the issue
The problem is the same with the latest Openbox flavour too. :(
I'm trying the Kwin flavour but I have problems launching any gui-applications as root. Fex. sudo leafpad gives me "No protocol specified" "leafpad: Cannot open display:"
