Hi Selva, as Stefan already mentioned, the smartpoly is part of our AI-assisted annotation toolkit which aims at reducing the needed time for image annotation. With the help of DKFZ this tool was directly integrated with MITK. One of the backbone is DL: inference using pre-trained models provide an initial segmentation of the targeted organ for which you need some GPU resources. This can be either local on your PC or you can use cloud-based resources (e.g. Azure, AWS,…). With the smart polygon you can then correct the current segmentation. To get full access to the trained models, please sign in for the Clara Train SDK (here<https://developer.nvidia.com/clara>). Please find more information about the AI-assisted annotation toolkit here: https://devblogs.nvidia.com/annotation-transfer-learning-clara-train/. And if you have specific question about it, you can also post it here in this forum: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/board/367/ Best, Nicola -------------- Nicola Rieke Senior Deep Learning Solution Architect – Healthcare | NVIDIA GmbH Email: nr...@nv...<mailto:nr...@nv...> | www.nvidia.com<http://www.nvidia.com/> [cid:image001.jpg@01D3BD00.56AE9CD0] From: Dinkelacker, Stefan <s.d...@dk...> Sent: Donnerstag, 9. Subject: Re: [mitk-users] Nvidia Smartpoly - How is it used Hi Selva, please see our announcement [1] and especially the links to Nvidia at the bottom of that article where the tools are explained. Basically the Nvidia tools do not work on premise but you have to specify/set up a segmentation server which does the actual segmentation. The segmentation tools in MITK just do some interaction and send the region of interest to the server and eventually receive the results. Last time I checked one could apply for such a server in the Nvidia GPU cloud also as explained on the Nvidia site mentioned above. As it is quite an advanced feature and in case you are not specifically want to use the Nvidia segmentation, I recommend to download the regular release of the Workbench instead which does not include the Nvidia tools. Can you please help understand how it can be used? Or the how output be interpreted? How does this help in kind of marking points of interest for defining the segmentation?
