I am setting up a one-wire interface using a pic from PH Anderson
(http://www.phanderson.com/stamp/onewire.html). This device uses
serial communication at 9600 baud. I have this connected to one of my
serial ports which I have confirmed to be working correctly. In the
process of troubleshooting my setup, I discovered that the serial data
I am sending to the port is being converted to upper case characters.
Unfortunately, the pic requires a string with lower case characters to
be sent to get a temperature reading:
My serial port is set up like this in my mh.private.ini:
serial2_port = /dev/ttyS1
serial2_baudrate = 9600
Is there a parameter I can set somewhere to prevent the conversion to
upper case for this port?
I am running an older version (mh 2.102 R419) on linux.
Thanks for the help.
