Is there consensus that a wired in coupler/repeater (e.g. the Leviton
4823) outperforms a plug-in unit like the 4826B SIGNALINC REPEATER?
My dryer plug is less than 10 ft from the breaker box. It is hard to
imagine that that is enough to make a difference electrically between
the two on placement alone - unless there's a fundamental qualitative
difference between the performance of the units (which there could well be).
There are several coupler/receiver units within $50 of each other -
homepro/act/leviton. Is there general consensus which unit is superior?
Most of the cost will be in installation so I don't want to economize if
one is much better.
