I have modified two of the MR26A's using these instructions and added a
Radio Shack Amplifier and have had no problem getting signals through
anywhere in my house now. I also removed all the TM751's from my house as
well. Making this mod should allow you to ignore the repeated signals...

The range of the MR26A, as you have figured out, is dismal. I don't know
about the repeater, but when I was surfing yesterday, I came across this
