Hi Has anybody had any experience with the IRlinc transmitter in Misterhouse? I have got it to learn codes and can link to a controller (such as a togglelinc relay) but have not had any luck sending commands to it from MH. I added the following entry to my insteon.mht file after learning the first IR command: IPLL, 0F.A4.CB:01, IR_button1, buttons, PLM, 0307 and manually linked the PLM as the controller. However switching the button1 to ON in MH does nothing. Not sure if I am on the right track. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a hint that might help. - I created some manual links between the IRlinc and some switches using my universal remote. I have a Logitech Harmony 890 which creates an interface for the Insteon IRlinc consisting of the keypad buttons 0-9 and additional soft buttons 10 - 50 which I can label to indicate a scene or individual switch. I have not created working Misterhouse links to the IRLinc, but when I generate a log of the IRlinc, I can see what location was assigned for the button I defined manually. In the following example, 0d represents a scene button for all kitchen lights. It is repeated for each kitchen light switch. I think 15 represents the button I assigned to control just the Under_Cabinet_Lights switch. All this needs to be confirmed by creating the button entries for the universal controller in the mht file and getting proper indications in misterhouse when a universal controller button is pressed. I hope to get to that step soon. >From IRlinc Log: 19/07/2009 18:44:22 [Insteon_Device] aldb 0e529c010 [0x0FE8] rspndr(01) record to $Under_Cabinet_Lights(01): onlevel=off and ramp=none (d3:00) 19/07/2009 18:44:22 [Insteon_Device] aldb 0e529c0d135 [0x0F80] contlr(0d) record to $Under_Cabinet_Lights(35), (d1:01, d2:01, d3:35) 19/07/2009 18:44:22 [Insteon_Device] aldb 0e529c15135 [0x0F28] contlr(15) record to $Under_Cabinet_Lights(35), (d1:01, d2:01, d3:35) >From MHT: IPLL, 0E.52.9C:01, Under_Cabinet_Lights, Inside_Lights|Kitchen, myPLM, 0101 IPLL, 0F.5A.4B:01, ir_linc_root, Buttons, myPLM, 0306 I believe the link in the MHT file for the IRlinc button for Under_Cabinet_Lights should look like this: IPLL, 0F.5A.4B:15, ir_Under_Cabinets, Buttons, myPLM There does not appear to be any correlation between the numbers assigned on the universal controller and the numbers in the IRlinc. Another post thought they may be assigned to the IRlinc in the order they are entered. graham holwill wrote: > > Hi > Has anybody had any experience with the IRlinc transmitter in Misterhouse? > I have got it to learn codes and can link to a controller (such as a > togglelinc relay) but have not had any luck sending commands to it from > MH. > I added the following entry to my insteon.mht file after learning the > first IR command: > IPLL, 0F.A4.CB:01, IR_button1, buttons, > PLM, 0307 > > and manually linked the PLM as the controller.
