when i moved into my house, it had this old adplex security system. the
modules were built wrong (so i was told), and there is actually a faint
smoke mark above them from something messed up inside. they are about 9
i've ripped out some of the control panels as a result, and i know there's 4
wires going to each one. all my doors and windows appear to have open/close
sensors in them.
at any rate, i want to install a new security system (obviously without
running new wire, that's impossible), but i want to be able to access it and
control it through misterhouse.
does anyone have any suggestions for a system that is very
controllable/accessible via misterhouse?

There have been some suggestions for a Caddx secutiry system, and the newest
version of MH now includes code to interface to its serial port. you may
wish to do an internet search for them... there are many dealers and
