www.vandyke.com "crt" supports com1 through com50. I use crt for telnet stuff in a 100+ unix box environment, works great. Just downloaded a demo copy onto the WIN98 box that has the bytrunner card. It shows com1-50, I don't have anything plugged into the bytrunner com ports that mh is not using, but CRT will open the unused ones, and won't open the mh used ones as it says they (like com5, etc) are in use... Until/unless I could move some cables around, this is as far as I can go toward proving it works. The demo is 30 day, the license is $34.95. As I mentioned, I've used it a bunch for telnet style stuff. Hundreds of users, hundreds of hosts, very happy with it's terminal emulation, keymapping, etc. Never used it serial before...
