It almost always boils down to someone in the immediate area getting some sort of x10 setup, either RF or wired, and my x10 setup picking it up, and doing something unexpected. For the last week, on my vacation, my bedroom light has been turning on at 5:30 AM and turning off at about 7:00AM. Annoying, as I usually don't get up until 7:00, AND I'm on vacation! Seems like my new neighbors (renters) have this cool 'wireless' timer for their CHristmas lights... guess what? I can turn them on and off too with my bedroom light!
