My troubles seemed to have started afetr a reinstall of MH on LinuxMCE. I think once I started tweaking settings in LinuxMCE my MH Insteon stuff stopped working properly. I'm starting to suspect that the two aren't compatible for some reason. Nothing has changed in my physical environment. If I send commands directly through the serial port Insteon works perfectly so I'm getting closer to the sad realization that I might have to either reinstall another OS or set up another PC to run MH separate from LinuxMCE. That's too bad really since, as others have pointed out, the LinuxMCE interface and media server capabilities are pretty sweet. Garry -----Original Message----- From: mis...@li... Please investigate your environment. I was afraid of that--setting scan_at_startup=0 only delays what seems to be inevitable for you. I will try to think of something else; but any attempt that I make to reproduce your problems is simply not occurring. It would obviously really help if *anyone* else could report whether latest svn is or is not working for them. I will happily send you the files that existed some time ago if you can tell me a rough time frame when you think that you last used them. That would help confirm/deny whether your current environment is somehow flawed.
