I recently installed a HAL PCI Voice Portal modem ( I use it to pickup/hangup the phone on receipt of unknown callerid info) . I notice tha= t now when I start mh it displays the following: Creating MS TTS object for voice_text=3DMSV5 ... - Sound card 1: SB Live! Wave Device - Sound card 2: Modem #2 Handset Playback Win32::OLE(0.1501) error 0x80020009: "Exception occurred" in PROPERTYPUTREF "AudioOutput" at ../lib/Voice_Text.pm line 60 - Sound card 3: Modem #2 Line Playback Win32::OLE(0.1501) error 0x80020009: "Exception occurred" in PROPERTYPUTREF "AudioOutput" at ../lib/Voice_Text.pm line 60 - Engine used: msv5 It sort of appears that if I can eliminate the errors, I might be able to have mh speak over the phone. The modem also has mini jacks for MIC and SPKR. I tried connecting the output from the sound blaster to the MIC input on the modem, but was not able to get any speech over the phone. Ultimatetly what I want to do is have mh answer the phone, play a pre-recorded wav asking to be put on a do-not-call list, and then hang up. Are there AT modem commands that I need to output? Anybody have any ideas o= n how to make this work? This particular mh host runs under Windows 2000. -Craig |
