Hi Bruce, thanks for taking the time to reply. I have started to look at this and will try to make a general interface. = Perl is the big problem for me here but after doing some easy stuff it=20 does not look to bad and I will hopefully grasp it soon. For specifics some hardware are out=20 (http://www.vscp.org/vscp/modules/index.html) and there is a lot of=20 software for Linux/Windows with programmer interfaces for most=20 languages. A dimmer module, multi protocol IR receiver/transmitter and a = lot of other modules is in the progress. Some of the first RF modules=20 are on the way to. There are also some simulated interfaces that comes with the daemon. If someone feel this would be a fun thing to do I would be happy to=20 share some hardware. As usual this turned out into a protocol=20 war but hopefully we will have some bridging being done. This is=20 something that would benefit both our groups IMHO. But this bridging=20 must be something more than BSC to be useful as I see it. BTW the=20 opposite is true. Our Level II have classes defined for xAP and xPL. I better stop here as I could talk for ever about this.. ;-) Cheers /Ake --=20 --- Ake Hedman (YAP - Yet Another Programmer) eurosource, Brattbergav=E4gen 17, 820 50 LOS, Sweden Phone: (46) 657 413430 Cellular: (46) 73 84 84 102 Company home: http://www.eurosource.se =20 Kryddor/Te/Kaffe: http://www.brattberg.com Personal homepage: http://www.eurosource.se/akhe Automated home: http://www.vscp.org |
