I recently upgraded to KDE 3.4.1 in my Gentoo linux box, and with it was imposed some different time-calculating scheme. It's not clear what was changed -- i'm not sure if the system clock was on UTC before -- but now Misterhouse is consistently four hours ahead (i.e. it's not taking into account the time difference from UTC). That's in spite of the fact that in the .ini, the timezone is clearly set properly. I tried exporting the environment TZ variable (which wasn't set before), and it doesn't seem to have made any difference. I couldn't find anything else that seemed relevant in the archives. What am i missing: how does everyone else running unix keep Misterhouse on time? _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
