I have created 3 web pages that demonstrate using AJAX technology with Misterhouse. The easiest way to view them is the do an svn update, then point your browser at http://localhost:8080/test, and then click on one of the ajax examples from the list. To get this working, I made substantial changes to the Misterhouse XML server. I think my changes are backwards compatible, and hope I didn't break anything. I also started a default xsl style sheet for formatting the xml data. This needs a lot more work, and any input from someone who knows what he/she is doing would be appreciated. There should also be a way to override the default xsl style sheet (maybe a parameter passed to the xml subroutine). I have an idea how to modify the Misterhouse http server to support Comet technoiogy. This would be much more efficient than the polling technique used in these examples. Contact me if you are interested in this.
