To deposit all those small utilities in the hope that they may be useful to others.
lock_stat.tar.gz contains a dynamic library on HP-UX for intercepting the call to "pthread_mutex_lock", so that some statistics about its usage can be collected. It is believed that it can be used on other platforms as well. The C sources are also within the tar file here.
