We have decided to hold off releasing Mirage 2.0 until we have a new pixel art set and sample game.

Thats about it...

Now that Mirage has been approved by sourceforge, We have uploaded the first version and made a file release. I've also advertised for a pixel artist position, so we won't have to force our users to make their own art. I already received one response!

Mirage has improved dramatically over 0.34 as it includes a modular IDE with a script editor and syntax highlighting. Next version will hopefully include an XML parser to enable me to link in chatterbots. The idea behind this is that you could actually have a proper conversation with NPCs :-)... read more
