I'm having a Sony BRAVIA TV and AVCHD files on my Ubuntu 12.04 laptop that I would like to stream to that TV. Unfortunaltely, they don't show up in the repository generated by MiniDLNA. How do I fix that?
Cheers,
Kalsan

AVCHD is supported and has worked on my Bravia TVs (2009 & 2010 series) for quite some time.

When you say that they are not in the repository generated, do you mean the SQLite database? or are you referring to browsing via the TV?

Please give more information about the contents of the AVCHD file (i.e the audio and video stream formats), and the model of your TV and I'll try to help more. You can use the tool MediaInfo to get the information about the video.

Try renaming a file to .m2ts rather than .mts, and see if that fixes it.

I should add that I now have a 2012 model Bravia, and AVCHD is working fine on that too.
