No

Currently file specific album art can be named as:

<file>.cover.jpg
<file>.jpg

However, in some cases, this cover art is also show when browsing the available media file.
WD TV Live connected over CIFS, for instance, does not hide these cover art from the media list. Having cover art in above form makes it
much harder to select the actual media (movie or audio) which you want to see.

A way to prevent this is by hiding the albumart in the unix way, e.g. starting with a '.' like:

.<file>.jpg

unfortunately these hidden files are not picked up by minidlna as being coverart also.
This patch implements to also consider hidden file specific coverart...

I just added a new patch that should accomplish the same thing, but in a simpler manner. It's working for me in limited testing. Can you verify that it works for you?

    Hi Justin,

I am in the process of reestablishing my environment after loss of the readynas development environment (had other priorities than minidlna).
I am hoping to test this in the coming weeks and let you know....

    Hi Justin,

I have checked your patch against 1.0.24 and it works as expected for the files I have tested (on ubuntu)... If you would, please include the patch to the current head.

In addition, i have trouble generating for the readynas, so would it be possible to release a (non public) readynas (i86) beta version so I can test both my patches on my readynas itself ?

    Thanks, Fred
