    Hi there,

i have installed minidlna on my debian server, but it does not find all files.
Everything else works fine as far as i can see but my Movies do not all get found.

I got a Folder called Movies, it contains 3 subfolder:
    - animes
    - movies
    - serien
in animes it only finds 1 of 2 subfolder but lists all movies in it correctly, in movies it lists 17 of 100 files and 3 of 21 subfolder.
the folder serien does not get listed at all.
When i check for http://server-ip:8200 it says it found 524 files which should be all it lists so i guess there is a problem at scanning them.
    chmod is set to:
    drwxr-xr-x  4 visions visions 4096 Apr 11 13:28 Animes
    drwxr-xr-x 23 visions visions 4096 Apr 13 14:16 Movies
    drwxr-xr-x 11 visions visions 4096 Apr  9 07:11 Serien

anyone knows how to deal with that or why it is like that?

    Greetings Visions

it could be a number of problems.  Try rebuilding the DB with debug messages on the console. The messages often provide good clues about what is happening.

    minidlna -d -R -f path-to-config

that console output really did she me the error :D thanks bunch for that

The problem was there was an .flv file it got stuck at. i dont know why, it couldnt open an mkv file before too but then ignored it, and other .flv files worked too. The file is not corrupt so i really dont know why.
But well the file is not important so i'll kick it out.

    Thanks and greetings
