    Hi,
I have recently got a Netgear Stora and tonight ive followed the minidlna update guide on the openstora wiki to update to 1.0.25. Will these instructions be the same for the stora to allow me to update to 1.1.12?
    Thanks

    Hi,

When i try to compile (./configure; make; make install), i'm receiving the error bellow:

checking for sqlite3_open in -lsqlite3... no
checking for sqlite3_open in -lsqlite3... no
configure: error: Could not find libsqlite3
make: No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
    make:
No rule to make target `install'. Stop.

    Any clue to solve it

Such install info is best stored on a wiki where people can fix instructions as they go obsolete, but it seems that no-one has updated the OpenStora page that covers HipServ devices for quite some time (http://www.openstora.com/wiki/index.php?title=MiniDLNA_for_Stora/Updating)

It may be easier for many people to install pre-compiled binaries.

Here are some attempted answers to some of the issues above...

    1. Compiling on a low memory, low CPU ARM device is not going to be easy, and is why I went for the route listed on the OpenStora page in the first place.

    2. Anyone trying to use ./configure and failing, probably needs to run ./autogen.sh first.

    3. Updates to the AV libraries are needed for the latest versions. The libraries I uploaded to the OpenStora site are for pre 1.0.26 versions.

I've unpackaged the latest pre-compiled binary for ARM from http://dev.shyd.de/2011/08/minidlna-dockstar-dlna-server/ and put that on the OpenStora site here: http://www.openstora.com/files/albums/userpics/15704/minidlna-1_1_2-1-arm.zip

I tried to install this today and ran into the Stora version of RPM hell. I managed to install around 15 libraries compiled for armel processors, but ultimately the app would not run due to glibc and SSL incompatibilities.

It looks like compiling yourself is the only solution currently.

    Hope this helps,
    Craig

I have managed to compile this and it starts, but it detects all of my videos as music, but they don't play. I think it is a problem with the version of libraries especially libavformat. Has anyone managed to get this working?
