Hello guys,
i do have some trouble with minidlna and playing a few albums. I do have about 900 albums in my collection and some (about 10 or 20) he won´t play on my Android phone for some reason.

Here is my config first:

Could that be a 24Bit issue? Is minidlna capable of serving such files?

I have no problem playing 24bit with bsplayer. Minidlna just sends the raw file.

If you can view/access the files from minidlna but cannot play them then the problem is with your client.

If you cannot view/access the files from minidlna, then run in debug mode with '-d' and check the debug statements to see what is going on. You may have to rebuild the database.

I have movie files, .mp4, that wont play. The same file will play through the win7 wmp12 interface onto my Bravia set, but refuse to play thru mini dlna. File from either source plays on pc's fine. xvid and avi files play through either path. Any thoughts ?

This file will not play thru mini dlna on Sony Bravia.
This same file on a win7 wmp12 machine drive plays fine on same Bravia.

  The file works with minidlna and my clients. The problem is with your client or the client profile.
