    Hello,

I saw many topics but no exactly about my issue.
I know the bug comes from the client software of my TV since with other players everything works just fine.
But I wish I could just use my TV without having another hardware.
My TV is a Samsung 40UD5700, I did upgrade to the latest firmware.

    Issue:
If I play a file with external subtitle file (same name different extension), it works I get the subtitles on the TV menu and all.
If I play a file with internal subtitles, in the mkv, no external file, it does not work, no subtitle on the TV no menu.
If I play the same file with other devices (I have only tried my ISP's box player and LG DP1W) it works I get the subtitles.

Could there be a dedicated patch, as there used to be I read somewhere ?

I have exactly this same problem. Furthermore, on my unit I cannot switch languages either. That happens with both mkv and mp4 (m4v) containers.
