I´m not sure what´s the exac problem or even if it´s on minidlna but I just replaced an old Samsung player for a new LG BP420 and, in the new one there´s no subtitles on minidlna movies. Can you help me to find the problem?

I already updated minidlna server for the latest CVS version and got full traces from both devices.

Full trace on the LG device (no subtitles):

Same movie on Samsung BD-C5500 (with subtitles):

    Does the LG support subtitles?
Subtitle support is client side (be they embedded, or as a separate .srt file).

Well, the manual say "yes" for a lot of formats (srt, smi, ssa, etc), and it shows the subtitles when sharing from Nero. Tonight I was able to get subtitles with minidlna encoding then in the .mkv file with mkvmerge.
