MinGW: Updated - Automated Installer 5.1.4

MinGW: A native Win32 port of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building native Windows applications; includes extensions to the MSVC runtime to support C99 functionality.

A new version of the Automated MinGW Installer was just released. It can be found in the MinGW download page on Sourceforge.net:

If you wish to upgrade from a previous 5.x.y version, it is strongly advised *not* to uninstall it before running this 5.1.4 installer.

The uninstallers in the previous versions work by removing every file under the installation directory. Even if that is an efficient approach to uninstalling, we recognized the danger of removing unrelated user files in the process. While we develop a more satisfactory solution, it was decided to release a new version that will only remove the registry entries when uninstalling.

The general advice is to never use the uninstall icon or the Add-Remove applet on versions prior to 5.1.4. It should be safe doing so after upgrading to this newly released version.
