I am trying to port a CygWin application to MinGW so that I can generate executables
without referring to cygwin1.dll
When I compile my C++ program using g++ in MinGW some of the header files are
unknown to g++. For exmaple, I get the following:
Also, for some of the var. declarations I get some error messages. For example,
for the following line of code
static vector<intVar> _trueVar;
where intVar is an unsigned integer, I get,
"ISO C++ forbids declaration of `vector' with no type"
I appreciate your help if you let me know where I am going wrong.

What headers do you include? You give errors where you use things but
not how you #include them.
