Sorry if I'm going to be off topic today... I haven't been following the list lately.
I've already sent a similar mail about this but I think the latter was confusing and I really did'nt know what I should do. Maybe this time, I'll make it clear...
How do I create interface libraries or those .a or .lib files used in compiling code from pre-compiled dlls (those files with dll extensions already). for example, how would I turn MyDLL.DLL -> MyDLL.a?
I don't have object code for the dlls (those .o files) and would like to create the interface lib directly from (or is it right?) the dll files. The only first thing I knew I had to do was use pexports to get the exported functions and put them to a .def file... can someone put me on the right direction?
ps, If you know a site where I can refer to as a great resource for making this .a files then please send them to me... thanks!
