I'm writing an ndis driver on win7 platform, using mingw.
There're ddk header files but no helloworld examples. So I downloaded the
latest microsoft wdk and try to compile the example(the
"network/ndis/passthru") with mingw
Here's the error:

why does mingw include <winbase.h>?

Why do you want to develop drivers using MinGW? The
standard is WDK which is free download.
Moreover, MinGW.org does not provide 64bit compiler,
for driver development, you need to have 64bit compiler
since 64bit Windows needs 64bit driver.
