I'd like to read a few bytes from PCI registers under Windows 98. My
const char* base = 0x0xef800000;
char x = base[0x3c00];
didn't work. I suspect I have to set up a segment selector with a base
address of 0 first. So, this raises two questions:
1. How do I set up a segment selector with a base address of 0?
2. How do I set up this selector so that it does not interfere with
my normal data segment?
Please cc me in your reply. Thanks,
