No problems if I run:
gcc -c fcrypt.c
But if I copy fcrypt.c to fcrypt.x and run 'gcc -c fcrypt.x - o fcrypt.o',
the object file does not get built and I get:
gcc: fcrypt.x: linker input file unused because linking not done
Is there a command line switch to tell gcc to treat fcrypt.x as a C source
I perused 'gcc --help' and 'gcc -v --help' but failed to find such a switch.
