I want to build a gcc 2.95.3 with libg++ for MinGW.
I know that libg++ is old and not supported anymore, but I need
it for my existing source code. So, I tried to build
a gcc from scratch using the current MinGW/MSYS environment.
I have downloaded the gcc-2.95.3-8-2002... tar-archive
from source forge and tried to build it. I have configured
it with ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc-2.95.3 --host=mingw32
"make" stops than in compiling gcc.c with the error messages
that DEFAULT_TARGET_VERSION, DEFAULT_TARGET_MACHINE are undefined
(although they are defined on the command line of gcc with
gcc also complains quite often about "unknown escape sequences",
but these are only warning messages.
So, can anybody give me an advice or point me to a document
for information about how to configure gcc 2.95 for MinGW.
