Version 1.0.2 of MSYS only contains just enough to execute a configure
script and a make file. This is a beta version intended for feedback.
I've two version of binary distributions, one built with -march=i686 and
one built with -march=i386. File names are clearly marked.
To use download the MSYS-1.0.2 binary dist. you need and unarchive it in
the root of your selected drive, e.g.: C:\. If you've already
downloaded and installed the MinGW-1.1 distribution then simply from
within the bash shell add a /etc/fstab file with the contents similar to
`c:\mingw /mingw' without the quotes to make your mingw root to /mingw.
If you've not installed mingw-1.1 then just unarchive it in the
CAUTION: The msys\1.0\bin directory is a special use directory that is
only to contain binaries that depend on the msys-1.0.dll. Do not put
"native" binaries in this directory, they will not work. Also, you'll
probly run into problems using Cygwin within MSYS and vice versa.
