I want to interface to an existing DLL and am having great difficulties.
The DLL is an interface DLL to a Ham radio callsign book. I am not certain
what language the DLL was created in, but I don't think it should matter.
Anyway, I have tried a few different methods of creating a .DEF file from
the DLL. nm kept reporting no symbols found. Anyway, I was able to use
implib.exe and it indeed found the one function that the API documents
states it has, CallSignLookup. I have used this function in VB by using the
So. implib created the .def file for me, I then ran:
dlltool --def hamcal32.def --dllname hamcal32.dll --output-lib libhamcal32.a
All went great, however, when linking against this library, the linker
reports that the CallSignLookup function was not found.
Can anyone give me a hint as to what I need to do to make this work with
