I'm now also running Windows Vista and have the same problems as described.
It seems like the cause has already been found. Was there some final
test that proofed the findings?
Which programs have to be patched (and how?)? Has somebody already a
patched version that he can offer (there proposed workarounds IMHO do
not lead anywhere)?
Are there other known problems with Windows Vista (I have seen a ticket
with random forking problems)?
Since I interested in completely dropping by Windows 2000 system, I'm
willing to give some testing help or even more, if I get a clear
description of what I have to do (since I'm developing *with* MinGW not
MinGW itself ;-)).
Any information is appreciated!
