I am creating a DLL that displays GUI components and I would like to
force it to use the Windows XP theme when running on XP. In Visual
Studio .NET, you compile the DLL with the macro
ISOLATION_AWARE_ENABLED set . This apparantly munges some symbols
in commctrl.h and winbase.h so that things "just work" and it
loads the manifest from a resource. Now I am working on an Open
Source project , and I would prefer to use MinGW rather than VC++,
however it seems that the MinGW w32api does not support
ISOLATION_AWARE_ENABLED. Has this come up before? If not, I would be
willing to help to update w32api to support this. Obviously, we can't
just copy and paste from the VC++ headers (darn), so how do you guys
make sure that w32api contains no copyright code?
