Because I didn't make the ASM code... Not sure if I can assemble NASM code with AS... Actually it's to enable MMX use with lame. The guy who did it used DJGPP, but it doesn't seem to work with MinGW. I'll try to work it test and find what's wrong with a simple example... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Earnie Boyd" <ear...@ya...> To: <min...@li...> Sent: Friday, September 08, 2000 2:31 AM Subject: Re: [Mingw-users] MinGW32 and NASM | --- Steve Lhomme <mai...@uu...> wrote: | > Did anyone ever manage to link a .o file generated by nasmw (nasm on | > Windows) and other .o with gcc/mingw32 ??? | > I can't make it work :( | > | > any solution would be appreciated (it's to include some MMX routines in a | > code) | > | | Why not just use gcc's assembler? |

Hello Steve, Steve Lhomme <mai...@uu...> wrote: SL> | Why not just use gcc's assembler? SL> Because I didn't make the ASM code... SL> Not sure if I can assemble NASM code with AS... In fact, latest binutils support Intel syntax, what's left just to build the for mingw32. -- Paul Sokolovsky, IT Specialist http://www.brainbench.com/transcript.jsp?pid=11135 |
