Bugs item #3109481, was opened at 2010-11-15 13:36 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by malzan You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=3109481&group_id=2435 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: MinGW Installer Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Michael (malzan) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: mingw-get-inst-20101030.exe fails to install Objective-C Initial Comment: mingw-get-inst-20101030.exe fails to install the Objective-C binaries. Examining mingw32-gcc4.xml reveals that the Objective-C section fetches gcc-c++-4.5.0-1-mingw32-bin.tar.lzma. Surely this entry should point to gcc-objc-4.5.0-1-mingw32-bin.tar.lzma. mingw32-gcc4.xml.lzma, in the Home / Automated MinGW Installer / mingw-get / catalogue directory, also contains this 'wrong?' entry. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=3109481&group_id=2435 |

It has since been corrected in the live repository manifest, so all should now work fine, *provided* you choose to refresh the catalogue on start-up, (and given the age of this package now, anyone who declines that option is simply asking for trouble). I don't intend to fix this, in any other manner, until the next mingw-get release milestone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=3109481&group_id=2435 |
