BTW, with the snapshot I uploaded yesterday, the occurrence of this should have been minimized. The default heap size is now 2M. Can you please verify that is the case? Earnie. Yes, pwd was changed here: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=1456489 And was reverted soon after: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=1483533 The file MSYS-1.0.7-changes.rtf explains that a -W switch was added to 'pwd' to allow Win32 paths to be output. Thanks Earnie. Is it deliberate that in MSYS1.08 "pwd" has reverted to it's pre 1.07 behaviour of returning Posix path names instead of Windows style ie "/c/junk" instead of "c:/junk"? Cheers Mike Thomas. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Earnie Boyd" <earnie_boyd@...> To: <mingw-msys@...> Cc: "Mike Thomas" <miketh@...> Sent: Friday, August 02, 2002 2:16 AM Subject: Re: [Mingw-msys] MSYS 1.08 - rxvt dies if left running overnight > Earnie Boyd wrote: > > > > Mike Thomas wrote: > > > > > > Hi Earnie. > > > > > > I have had three (out of three) MSYS 1.08 sessions left running overnight > > > die during the night as documented below by the famous Dr Mingw. > > > > > > > Yea, there's a resource leak fixed in my sandbox.
