---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: [Groff] groff 1.19.2 has been released Date: Wed, 07 Sep 2005 07:45:14 +0200 (CEST) From: Werner LEMBERG <wl...@gn...> To: inf...@gn..., gr...@gn... groff 1.19.2 has been released. It is available from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/groff/ and mirrors of that site (see list of mirror sites at http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html). Current snapshots are available from ftp://ftp.ffii.org/pub/groff/devel/. ------------------------------------------------------- Now that this is available, I'm putting together a mingwPORT -- I expect it to be ready within the next few days. Meanwhile, I've encountered a few problems with the `portmaker' module from CVS; (I'm cross building on a GNU/Linux host). I've resolved some of them: 2005-09-10 Keith Marshall <kei...@us...> * lib/mingwPORT.functions (ask): Omit `()' if no default. (isyes): Accept abbreviated `yes' argument. * src/Makefile (portmaker): Make it executable. * src/portmaker.sh (makeport): Remove obsolete reference... (portmaker): ... and replace with this. (ARCHIVEHOME): Add missing `/' in `http://...'. (PORTPATH): Eval it. The patch is number 1286563, in the contributions category on the patch tracker. Installing this module was unbelievably fiddly -- the provided `Makefile's need some rework, preferrably renaming them as `Makefile.in's, and providing a proper `configure' script. I'm willing to put in some work on this, if you would like me to, Earnie. Best regards, Keith. |
