I can 'cd ./foo', but I can't 'cd foo', even though foo exists as a directory under '.'. I get hosed because I have subdirectories in by source tree, so the makefiles that automake generate fail because 'SUBDIRS = foo' -- there is no '/' in the name, so make can't chdir to foo. |
