Mingw is a collection of many tools. So, if you're looking for "mingw documentation" you will probably not find anything. Each individual package has its own documentation. For example, the gcc manual is available in a number of formats at <http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/>. The binutils manuals are at <http://sourceware.org/binutils/docs-2.16/>. And so on for "make", "sed", whatever. But none of these manuals teach you how to program. They assume you already know the language and document how to use the tools. That is beyond the scope of any of these projects. I recommend you get a book on C programming, there should be many at your library. You can also google (e.g. <http://www.google.com/search?q=c+language+tutorial>) but the quality varies. You're kind of on your own there. Brian |
